Good Company provides one-on-one respite and community support for autistic teens and adults with a range of communication styles, abilities, and support needs. Every new relationship begins with a conversation to make sure I can safely and confidently provide the level of support needed.

Good Company currently serves families in Lisle and surrounding communities.
-
Honestly, a lot! We can stay home, cook, create, watch movies, play games, go for walks, work on life skills, explore a special interest, head into the community, visit a museum, grab lunch, spend time outside, or build the day around whatever your person genuinely enjoys.

Not at all. You're welcome to have a plan ready, we can come up with something together, or you can leave the planning completely to me.

I have experience supporting autistic teens and adults with a wide range of needs. Because every person is different, we'll talk about communication, sensory needs, behavior, personal care, routines, safety considerations, and other relevant support needs before scheduling care.
-
Personal care needs can be discussed during the initial conversation. My goal is to understand exactly what support is needed and determine whether I'm the right fit before care is scheduled.
-
Absolutely. Good Company can be used for occasional care or a more consistent schedule depending on availability.
-
Overnight support takes place in the individual's home so familiar routines and surroundings can stay as consistent as possible. We'll go over evening and morning routines, meals, personal care, medications as applicable, sleep expectations, emergency information, and anything else I should know beforehand.
-
As early as possible is always helpful, especially for evenings, weekends, and overnight care. Last-minute availability may occasionally be possible, so you're always welcome to ask.

We'll start with an inquiry and conversation about your family and what you're looking for. From there, we'll talk through support needs, preferences, routines, safety information, and scheduling to make sure Good Company feels like the right fit.
